An extraordinary project that goes far beyond the classic simulator world: Commissioned by the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, we completely renewed the legendary Rega Sim-Helicopter technically and prepared it for daily public use. As part of a complete overhaul, both hardware and software were reconfigured and optimized in close cooperation with experts — with the goal of creating a reliable, safe, and exciting experience for thousands of visitors. Since then, the helicopter has been an integral part of the Museum of Transport's Sim-World and can be experienced up close by every visitor. Incidentally, the helicopter's last real flight took place upon delivery from our workshop — since then, it has only taken off virtually. This project exemplifies our expertise in customized simulator solutions — from technical conception and software integration to optimization for professional continuous operation.
