Klinik Lengg in Zurich is the Swiss competence center for epileptology and neurological rehabilitation. Together, we developed and installed a professional driving simulator, which is now an integral part of their driving assessment service. The simulator is used to realistically and safely assess – and specifically train – the driving skills of people with neurological conditions. Reaction time, attention, and motor skills can be tested in simulated everyday situations, including critical scenarios such as rain, darkness, or suddenly appearing obstacles. Three perfectly coordinated PCs ensure smooth, precise driving scenarios and direct performance evaluation. Goal: To maintain mobility and independence for as long as possible.
